❔ What should you do if you notice a transaction labelled “Leetchi SA” or “MGP Leetchi” on your account statement?
🔍 Check if one of your family members (spouse, children) has borrowed your bank card to contribute to a money pot (this situation explains a majority of the cases we encounter).
💬 If searches among those around you are unsuccessful, and you cannot find the origin of the transaction, we advise you to stop your bank card, but also to stop the payment. Your bank will then contact the payment provider we work with, who will be able to investigate.
👮 If your bank and the payment provider actually notice fraud, you can also file a complaint against X at your nearest gendarmerie or police station. You will find more information and can file a pre-complaint on service-public.fr.
🎯 Important: If your card number has been compromised, it's not just your money pot that is potentially in danger, so stay attentive to other transactions in your bank account. |
