Accepted identity documents

If you are a French national

• Double-sided national identity card (valid for 15 years from the date of issue for persons of legal age on that date, 10 years for persons of minors on the date of issue. More informations here);

• Driving licence (under 15 years old);

• Valid passport;

• Residence permit.

  If you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA)

• Double-sided national identity card (from an EEA country);

• Residence permit from the country of residence;

• Driving licence (from an EEA country);

• Passport.

 🌍 If you live outside the European Economic Area

The only identity document accepted is the passport.
